... and Why Sponsorship Is the Multiplier
Nevada has a mental health problem, and it isn’t a talking point, it’s a statistic that shows up in emergency rooms, classrooms, and homes across the state. Nevada continues to rank among the lowest in the nation for access to mental health resources, and its youth and families who feel that gap most acutely.
Boys Town Nevada has spent 35 years working to close it.
The scale of the issue
The growing urgency around youth mental health — including the effects of social media, rising stress and anxiety, and the importance of early intervention — is a key issue impacting families across Southern Nevada. These aren’t abstract trends. They translate directly into kids who need therapy and can’t get an appointment, parents who need support and don’t know where to turn, and families that are one crisis away from losing stability altogether.
That’s the gap Boys Town Nevada was built to fill.
Impact of Boys Town Nevada is real
Boys Town Nevada’s work goes far beyond a single program; it’s a full continuum of care built around the idea that every child deserves a future, every family deserves to stay together, and every community deserves to thrive. In practice, that includes:
- In-Home Family Services — working directly inside the home to keep families intact and functioning.
- Outpatient Behavioral Health and Autism Clinics — outpatient services for families with children experiencing social, emotional, academic, or behavioral challenges. Offering ADHD and Autism Assessment.
- Boys Town LIFT Program — program partners with schools to improve student behavior, attendance, academic outcomes, and overall school culture through evidence-based training and coaching for educators.
- Common Sense Parenting® classes — helping parents build on their strengths and develop healthier relationships with their children.
- Well-Managed Schools Program — provides comprehensive training and coaching for teachers and administrators, equipping them with proven classroom management strategies that create safe, structured, and engaging learning environments where students can thrive.
- The Boys Town National Hotline® — a free, 24/7 crisis resource for youth and parents, nationwide 1-800 448-3000.
- The Your Life Your Voice app — a newer tool giving teens a private space for mood tracking, journaling, and direct access to crisis counseling. TEXT VOICE to 20121
Over the past five years alone, more than 204,000 lives have been impacted through these programs. That number is the result of three and a half decades of consistent, unglamorous, essential work long before “35th anniversary” made it a milestone worth a gala.
Why sponsorship changes the equation

Direct services cost money, but they also require something money alone doesn’t buy: visibility, sustained attention, and the kind of community backing that turns a nonprofit’s mission into a shared cause. That’s where sponsorship — done well — becomes a genuine multiplier rather than just a line-item donation.
A few ways that plays out:
- Dollars fund capacity, not just awareness. Every sponsorship dollar behind the Impact Gala goes toward the same programs above; therapy sessions, crisis support, parenting resources, and autism services for families who couldn’t otherwise access them.
- Visibility compounds the mission. A hotline only works if people know it exists. A crisis app only helps if a struggling teen has heard of it. Sponsors with reach — media, production, marketing, events — extend the message further than the nonprofit could alone.
- Sustained partnership beats one-time giving. A single gala night raises funds, but a sponsor showing up as part of the “roster” year over year signals to the community that this cause has staying power, which matters for an organization doing long-horizon work like family reunification and childhood mental health.
- Sponsors bring more than checks. Different sponsors contribute different capabilities, from capturing the story on camera, building the stage the night happens on, to spreading the message through their own networks. The equation gets better when sponsorship is treated as a partnership, not a transaction.
That’s the thinking behind Nvision360 Productions® stepping in as a Hall of Fame Sponsor this year — not necessarily funding the night, but helping produce and capture it, so the story of what Boys Town Nevada does reaches further than the room it happens in.
“For 35 years, Boys Town Nevada has been a lifeline for children and families facing mental and behavioral health challenges. This gala is an opportunity for our community to come together, invest in hope, and help every child thrive.”
— Debra March, Gala Chairwoman and Boys Town Nevada Board Member
35 years down. The work continues.
Boys Town Nevada’s Impact Gala isn’t a celebration for its own sake — it’s a reminder that the mental health crisis affecting Nevada’s youth and families is still very real and still requires people and organizations willing to show up for it. Thirty-five years of impact is worth celebrating. What happens in the next thirty-five depends on who’s willing to sponsor the equation forward.
